I got my first Covid vaccination yesterday, and JESUS CHRIST! if I knew it was going to be this painful I would have never got it. For the first few hours my arm was a bit sore, but I knew that going in. But when I got to work at 4pm, it felt like I ran a marathon. My body was extremely sore to the point on any sore on movement was the definition of pain. In my last blog, I said how it enjoyed the risk. Now I prefer the risk over this unnecessary pain. Its supposed to prevent the effects of Covid, not give them to you. I couldn't even open a bag for Christ sake. Now I'm being told that the second one is supposed to be worse. I am NOT looking forward to it.
Today I get my Covid-19 vaccination, my first one to be exact. I’m honestly kind of scared, people have been complaining about how much they feel like shit for a few days afterwards. I know I need to get it, not only for my job but also so I don’t die. It’s honestly a pretty good incentive to get the vaccine, get the vaccine and live or don’t and have the possibility of dying before you even know you have it. Personally I love the risk, knowing that at any moment you could catch a possibly fatal infection. All in all I’m getting the thing that saves me, kind of boring if you ask me.
This past Saturday, I went to TD bank and opened myself a bank account. Since I have a job, I thought it would be better to have a bank account then to walk around with cash all the time. Unfortunately I haven't gotten paid yet, and I wont get paid until October 8th. Its only 11 days away, and it'll be my first paycheck so I'm excited.

First day

Last night was my first day working at McDonalds. At the beginning I had no idea what I was doing, keep in mind I am still a trainee. I walked to the back to talk to the manager and get set up with the uniforms we had to wear. It felt wrong being in the kitchen after being a customer for so long, but eventually I found my mojo and got to work. They ask you to memorize the recipes for making the sandwiches you can order, and there are a lot. I have work there for a full day and only have two memorized, I still have a long way to go. Luckily they give you a hat to wear so my hair wasn't getting in the way. When i got home, I instantly got into bed and passed out. It was a good day.
